On April 18, investment immigration company Henley & Partners and global wealth intelligence company New World Fortune jointly released the "2023 World's Richest Cities Report". New York City tops the list again!
New York City is home to 340,000 millionaires and 58 billionaires by 2023.
Tokyo came in second with 290,000 millionaires and 14 billionaires, while the San Francisco Bay Area came in second with >285,000 millionaires came in third, but there were far more billionaires at 63.
After New York City, Tokyo and the Bay Area, London ranks fourth in the world for the most millionaires with 258,000. The city also has 36 billionaires.
Singapore ranks fifth with 240,000 millionaires and 27 billionaires, followed by Los Angeles with 205,000 millionaires and 42 billionaires ranked sixth.
There are three cities in China that rank seventh, eighth and ninth, Hong Kong has 129,000 millionaires and 32 billionaires, Beijing has 128,000 millionaires and 43 billionaires, Shanghai has 127,000 millionaires and 40 billionaires.
Tenth place in the world is Sydney, Australia, with 127,000 millionaires and 15 billionaires.
